Located along the banks of Japan's longest river, the Shinano River, 'Nature Farm Watanabe Orchard' in Sanjo City is nestled in fertile soil, surrounded by many orchards. We continuously refine our cultivation methods to harness the natural vitality of the fruits themselves. We spare no effort in ensuring that the fruit retains its life force by minimizing the use of pesticides and avoiding unnecessary fertilizers.
We are committed to sustainable practices, carefully considering the soil, water, and natural environment, ensuring that we do not compromise the inherent strength of the trees and focusing on meticulous fruit production. While our orchard is not usually open to the public, it will be during the Factory Festival, where we will sell new varieties of pears and grapes. We'll also host a quiz: 'How many fruits are growing on our 60-year-old Le Lectier pear tree?' The person with the correct answer will receive 4 kg of Le Lectier pears as a gift!
